Digital Product Passport

A digital product passport is a record of how one garment was made: what it is made of, how to care for it, and which mill, factory and supplier it passed through.

This is a pilot. 3 styles from one season carry a QR code on the care label that leads to one. The EU will require passports for textiles in time; we wanted to find out what it takes to make an honest one before we had to.

Example: Loud Larry Dirt Wash

A passport is written once, from our own product data, and then frozen. It keeps saying what was true on the day the garment was made rather than quietly changing later. Where a step in the supply chain is not mapped, it says so instead of leaving a blank.
